What Is in the Toshiba Listings We Hold

Boring accounts for 371 rows: 295 CNC boring mills, 36 horizontal boring mills, 28 more filed as HBM and 12 vertical boring mills. BTD, BP and BF: The Toshiba Boring Mill Lines
Three boring lines carry most of the weight here. BTD is the horizontal boring mill line and the largest model family in the hub at 152 listings. BTD-110R16 is the most common single model string we hold at 16 listings, followed inside the BTD line by BTD-200QF, BTD-110 and BTD-11B at seven each, then BTD-110H, BTD 13F R22, BTD 200QH, BTD-130H.R22 and BTD-200QE. BP is second at 71 listings and covers the table-type boring mills, with BP-150, BP-150.R22, BP-13B-P7, BP-130-R22, BP-110 and BP-13 all present. BF, the floor-type line, runs 30 listings including BF-130A, BF 130B and BF-130B. Alongside those three you will also see BT, BTH, BFT and BSF designations in these listings, at 29, 24, 22 and nine respectively. If the plate on your machine reads something outside the three named lines, send it anyway. At 371 rows, boring is the largest machine type in this hub, and it is the equipment we chase hardest.
BMC, MPF and MPC Machining Centers, TUE Vertical Lathes
On the milling side, BMC is the horizontal machining center line and the third largest family in the hub at 62 listings, with BMC-800, BMC-100E, BMC63 and BMC-1000 among the strings we hold. MPF, the 5-face machining center line, runs 34 listings including MPF-2140, and MPC, which Toshiba ties to 5-axis work, runs 44. MPH double column machining centers are present at five listings, so ask rather than assume one is sitting on our floor. Turning is anchored by TUE vertical turning lathes at 47 listings, where TUE-15, TUE 150 and TUE 20 are the most common strings, plus TSS in the same vertical lathe group at 14. Toshiba Machine Co. rebranded to Shibaura Machine in 2020. The machines and the product lines did not change, and we buy from both eras, so a nameplate reading Shibaura Machine and one reading Toshiba Machine get the same treatment here. Our own catalog shows the split, with SHIBAURA leading 13 listings and TOSHIBA leading 12. It also shows how loosely these designations get written down. BTD-110R16, BTD110R16 and plain 110R16 are three spellings of one designation sitting in our data. So are TUE-15, TUE 15 and TUE15. BF-130B and BF 130B appear both ways, as do BTD-110 and BTD110, BTH-110 and BTH110, BMC-800 and BMC800. Suffixes add more variation still: BTD-130H.R22, BP-150.R22, BP-130-R22 and BTD 13F R22. That variance is a spelling problem rather than a supply problem, and it is why we ask for the plate string character for character instead of a cleaned up version of what is stamped there.
Injection Molding, Die Casting and Extrusion Under the Toshiba Plate
Toshiba is not only a metal cutting nameplate, and the plastics side of this hub is the part most brand pages skip entirely.
