Shibaura Machine lists the BTH-110.R18 as a horizontal boring machine with a 110 mm (4.3 in) spindle. Travel is 2,500 mm in X, 2,000 mm in Y and 1,500 mm in Z, with a 500 mm W stroke. The table measures 1,400 by 1,800 mm (55 by 71 in) and carries 10,000 kg (22,000 lb). The spindle turns up to 4,000 rpm, the magazine holds 60 tools, and the control is a FANUC 31i-B Plus. Continuous indexing of the B axis covers the milling of cylindrical and end surfaces, so no separate rotary table is needed for that work.
