In Mori Seiki's NL2500 family, the NL2500SY/1250 combines a 100 mm Y stroke, ±50 mm about center, with a second spindle riding a 1,284 mm B axis, and its heading describes continuous work on a part's front and back. Turned length reaches 1,298 mm and Z travel 1,345 mm. The turned diameter limit is 356 mm, against a 275 mm standard figure, and X moves 260 mm. Spindle 1 has a 4,000 min-1 rating, spindle 2 a 6,000 min-1 rating, and the turret's rotary tools run at 6,000 min-1. Twelve tools are standard and 10 optional. Fixtures and tools may prevent either spindle from reaching its top speed. The page lists no control, motor or weight.
