Mori Seiki lists the NL2500/700 as a CNC lathe in its NL2500 family. Its table covers turning figures only: it lists no rotary tool speed, no Y stroke and no second spindle. The spindle peaks at 4,000 min-1, a rate that certain jigs and tools can rule out. Up to 12 tools mount on the turret, or 10 on the optional one. The machine turns diameters of up to 356 mm and lengths of up to 705 mm, its standard turning diameter being 275 mm. On X the slide moves 260 mm and on Z it moves 795 mm.
