What the maker published about the Mazak SQT 200M
Filed with Mazak's multitasking CNC lathes, the SQT 200M has milling as a standard feature. Turret positions number 12 on a VDI type turret with a servo drive, and one index takes .2 sec. Tooling shanks measure 1" x 1", and the largest boring bar is 1.5". For live tools, a 4500rpm rotary spindle runs from an AC3.7kW {5HP} motor on a 10 Min. rating; 6000rpm is an option. X and Z each traverse at 1,200 IPM, while the C axis is rated for 400rpm. The headstock spindle, with an A2-6 nose and an 8" through-hole chuck, reaches 5000rpm on AC18.5kW {25HP} for 30 minutes. Machining limits are 11.81" in diameter and 21.18" in length, with bar up to 2.0".
