What the maker published about the Okuma MACTURN-30

Okuma classed the MACTURN 30 as a multi-function turning center with motion on the B, C, X, Y and Z axes. Its work envelope reaches 500 mm (19.68 in) in diameter and 1000 mm (39.37 in) in length. Two spindle versions appear. With the standard bore, speed climbs to 4,500 rpm on a motor rated 20 hp (14.9 kW) for 20 minutes and 15 hp (11.2 kW) continuous. The big bore spindle stops at 3,800 rpm but carries 30 / 20 hp (22.4 / 14.9 kW) on the same basis. Turning tools sit on an H2 turret that clamps hydraulically and indexes by servo, and a servo driven changer holds 20 tools with a 40 taper.
