What the maker published about the Okamoto 15NC-2
On an archived Okamoto Corporation page for its internal grinders, the IGM-15NC/2 shares a specification table with the IGM-2M and IGM-15NC, and the page credits it with grinding small and large bores and outside diameters alike, plus shoulders and faces; a swing-type dresser comes fitted as standard. The listings on this page print the names 15NC-2 and IGM-15NCII. Its ID range depends on the spindles fitted: 0.24 to 4 inches with one spindle, or 0.24 to 6 inches with two. Over the table it swings 24 inches, and the table travels 20 inches lengthwise. The workhead swivels from -5 to +15 degrees, and the wheelhead crossfeed reaches 12 inches.
