Mazak's HORIZONTAL CENTER NEXUS 6000-II, a horizontal machining center, works on 500 mm pallets, two of which trade places through a changer that comes standard. Forty three pockets make up that magazine, and the page mentions other magazine sizes as choices. Its materials span steels and nonferrous metals. For the control, the specification block says Matrix Nexus 2, while a feature line names a different MAZATROL CNC. Six Intelligent Machine functions appear, among them spindle monitoring (IPS), thermal compensation (ITS) and Mazak Voice Advisor, and the machine could be linked into a Mazak PALLETECH system.
