Built as one of Mori Seiki's vertical machining centers, the SVL5020 has a long 2,650x510 mm working surface able to carry 2,500 kg. On X the saddle travels 2,300 mm end to end, and with the central partition attached the page gives 730 mm twice instead. Y, a crosswise motion of the column, spans 510 mm, and the spindle head's vertical Z motion is also 510 mm. Its base spindle has a 12,000 min-1 limit, while the bracketed option lifts it to 20,000 min-1. Tools take MAS BT-40 shanks or, optionally, CAT-40, and the magazine stores 30, with no larger one listed. Inch values run beside the metric ones, such as 90.6 in. of X and 5,500 lb. of table load. A footnote cautions that workholding and cutters may limit how close the spindle gets to its top speed. Motor power, rapid traverse and machine weight are not on the page.
