What the maker published about the DMG MORI NL-3000/1250

A single 3,000 min-1 rating covers the spindle of the NL3000/1250, which Mori Seiki's Japanese site simply called a CNC lathe, one of its NL3000 family. The page lists neither a Y axis nor a second spindle for this version, and it leaves the speed of driven tools blank. Its X slide travels 280 mm (210 plus 70) and its Z slide 1,370 mm. Workpieces can be 420 mm across, 310 mm being standard, and 1,260 mm long. Ten turret positions come fitted, and twelve could be chosen instead. That spindle maximum, the maker notes, may not be attainable with every jig and tool, and the image next to the table depicts the NL3000MC/1250.
