Mori Seiki's DuraTurn 2050 is a CNC lathe from the DuraTurn line, and its specification sheet is a short one. Work up to 360 mm in diameter can be turned, and 255.1 mm is given as the standard turning diameter. Turned parts may be up to 530 mm long. X moves 215 mm, a total the maker splits into 180 mm and 35 mm, while Z moves 570 mm. One top spindle speed, 4,000 min-1, is printed, and the turret takes 12 tools. Nothing on the page is marked as an option, and it mentions neither rotary tools nor a second spindle. A footnote warns that tools and workholding can keep a job below 4,000 min-1. No control, motor rating, rapid rate or machine weight is given for this lathe.
