AMADA builds the FOL-3015AJ as a fiber laser cutting machine around an oscillator it developed itself. Unlike a CO2 source, the fiber unit has no cavity resonator: light from several modules is combined into one fiber cable and carried to the cutting head, so there are no internal mirrors to clean or change and no laser gas is used. The processing area is 3070 by 1550 mm, and simultaneous X and Y rapid feed reaches 340 m/min. The specification table pairs the machine with the AJ-4000 oscillator rated at 4 kW, and for that setup it gives maximum sheet thickness as 22 mm in mild steel, 18 mm in stainless and 8 mm each in copper and brass. Brass, copper and titanium, which the page groups as reflective or hard-to-cut, are named as cuttable. A nozzle changer, oil shot and cooling cut device come standard. The table is marked for the Japanese domestic market.
