Tsugami pairs the B0205-III with a twin, the B0206-III, and the 0205 is the 5-axis member of the pair, without the Y2 axis that the 0206 gains on its back tool post. Barstock from ø3 mm up to ø20 mm runs through it. Through the rotary guide bushing it machines lengths up to 210 mm (8.26 in.); with a chucker kit fitted it converts to guide bushless work, where the limit is 45 mm (1.77 in.). For this model the spec table gives a FANUC 0i-TD control, a net weight of 2,000 kg (4409.25 lbs.) and an 11 kVA supply. Its gang tools face each other horizontally, and four cross milling stations, two ER16 and two ER11, are standard, next to four static backworking stations; a live backworking station with two driven and two static positions is optional. Spindle motors are integral, the guide bushing is servo driven, and a program check function is included as standard.
