Okuma makes the LT3000 EX, a TWIN STAR LT EX series lathe with a left spindle and a right spindle. Upper and lower turrets are fitted, and the maker states that either one may serve either spindle; a third turret is an option. Turning capacity is 350 mm across and 200 mm in length. The spindle speed on the table is 5,000 min-1, while a bracketed 4,200 min-1 is the optional figure. Standard tooling is 2 x 16 tools, with 3 x 16 tools as an option. Motor power comes to 22/15 kW in standard form and 30/22 kW in the optional version. Beside the figures, the page names three features: M, carrying milling tools in the turret; MY, the same milling setup plus a Y-axis; and OGL, which brings a gantry loader.

Okuma's 2022 page builds the LT3000 EX to finish as much of a part's primary and secondary machining as it can in one compact twin-spindle lathe, offered with two or three turrets, a Y axis as a choice, and 32 or 48 stations taking lathe or mill tools.
