What the maker published about the Mazak VTC-300C
The VTC-300C is a Mazak vertical machining center with a full traveling column over a long fixed table, and it takes very long and heavy workpieces. The table measures 78.740 in / 2000 mm by 30.000 in / 760 mm and carries up to 3,300 lbs. With the optional center partition, the operator can set up a part in one work area while the machine cuts in the other. Travel is 65.35 in on X, 30.00 in on Y and 26.00 in on Z, and rapid traverse runs at 1,181 ipm. The 2014 page lists a CAT 40-taper spindle turning 12,000 rpm as standard, with 15.0 hp / 11 kw on a 30 minute rating. An automatic tool changer serves 24 tools, and 48 was an option. The control named on that page is the Fusion 640MN.
