What the maker published about the Mazak SQT 250
Mazak paired the SQT250 with the larger SQT300 on one page and described the 250 as a 2-axis CNC turning center. Chuck work on the 250 reaches 350 mm in diameter, and bar stock up to 65 mm passes through a spindle bore of 67 mm. Two machining lengths are printed for it, 483 mm and 993 mm, plus two Z strokes, while the X stroke is 190 mm. A single spindle row covers both models: a 4000 rpm ceiling, and a motor rated 22 kW over 30 min and 15 kW without a time limit. The turret count, again printed once for both, is 12 tools. At the tailstock end, the quill measures 80 mm across and carries an MT-5 taper. One photo on the page shows the 250 together with a gantry robot system.
