What the maker published about the Mazak QTU-350M
Mazak's QTU-350M, a CNC turning center whose turret spins rotary milling tools, came on either of two beds, 19.685 in or 39.370 in long. Whichever bed is fitted, the main spindle grips a 10 in chuck, revolves at up to 3500 rpm and draws 20.0 hp / 15 kw over a 1 minute rating, while the turret carries 12 tools with milling speeds to 4500 rpm on 7.4 hp / 6 kw. Both beds share a 27.40 in swing and a 3.0 in bar limit. The shorter bed takes parts of 13.500 in diameter by 19.608 in length; the longer one raises those limits to 16.250 in and 41.233 in. Strokes on the short and long beds are, in order, 8.50 in and 8.50 in on X, 23.75 in and 45.50 in on Z, and 22.13 in and 36.75 in on W, and the table prints no Y stroke. A servo-driven NC tailstock is fitted, and the GR100 gantry loader appears among the options.
