What the maker publishes about the current Mazak QT200
Mazak's QT200 is a CNC turning center from its 8 inch chuck lineup, and this base model carries a bolt-on turret. Maximum swing is 24 inch. Parts up to 14 inch in diameter and 20 inch in length can be machined, and the bar work capacity is 3 inch. The spindle turns to a top speed of 5000 rpm, and its motor carries a 30 minute rating of 26 kW (35 HP). The turret holds 12 tools. Travel is 8 inch on the X axis and 22 inch on the Z axis. Mazak lists the milling, Y axis and second spindle versions as separate models, the 200M, 200MY, 200MS and 200MSY, and each of those is fitted with a VDI turret instead.
