What the maker published about the Mazak QT6T
The QT6T is a compact CNC turning center from Mazak for small workpieces, set up to turn either chucked parts or shafts. Mazak grouped it with the 6G in a single series. A 5 in chuck mounts on a spindle that turns at up to 7000 rpm, driven by a motor rated 7.5 hp / 6 kw for 30 minutes. Bar work reaches 1.3 in, and the largest machining diameter is 5.120 in. Slide strokes are 3.15 in for X and 7.87 in for Z. Eight positions on the drum turret are standard, and a 12-position turret was an option. The control type on the page reads Mazatrol with EIA. Gantry Loader (GL) systems were optional for unattended operation.
