2006 Makino V22 GRAPHITE
Metal Cutting
2 Makino V22 GRAPHITE listings have come through the used market we track, built 2006 where given.
Makino lists the V22 Graphite among its graphite machining centers and describes it as a small vertical machining center for cutting graphite electrodes to tight size. Those electrodes are then used to make small molds, and Makino names where those molds go: parts for mobile phones and digital cameras, IC molds and connectors. Makino says its graphite machining centers are set up to cut not only graphite but other materials such as steel. The same line-up page carries the V56i Graphite and the V77 Graphite, both pairing a 40 taper spindle with Makino's SGI.5 control and both able to dry machine steel and castings, and the D200Z Graphite, which is fitted out for 5 axis electrode work. Within that line-up the V22 Graphite is the one Makino ties to the small mold end of electrode making.
