Hyundai WIA's KBN135C is the moving column member of its 135 Series of heavy duty boring machines, while the KBN135 beside it uses a moving table. Here the column itself makes the Z stroke of 1,600 mm; X spans 3,000 mm, Y 2,000 mm and the W axis 700 mm. An optional extended build stretches X to 4,000 mm, Y to 2,500 mm and Z to 2,000 mm. The BT50 spindle runs in a 135 mm quill through a three step gearbox and reaches 2,000 r/min on 22/18.5 kW, with a peak torque of 3,114 N·m; motors of 26/22, 37/30 and 37/31 kW are options. A spur gear turns the B axis of the 2,000×1,800 mm table, which indexes in steps of 0.001° and bears 15,000 kg, or 20,000 kg as an option. Forty tools fill the magazine, or sixty optionally. FANUC 31i-B control comes standard, SIEMENS 840D sl is optional, and the standard machine has a mass of 46,500 kg.

Hyundai WIA's October 2022 English brochure gives the KBN135C a moving column for heavy cutting of large, heavy work, with the column making the Z stroke so the table does not sag under the load, a three-step geared spindle and 700 mm of W travel for boring; a manual facing head it lists faces and bores parts such as the flanges of large valves.
