2015 Emag VSC 250
CNC Turning Centers
6 Emag VSC 250 listings have come through the used market we track: 3 marketplaces, built 2011–2015 where given; one early year that only one marketplace reports is left out; 5 machines once repeats are merged.
On the VSC 250, EMAG hangs the work spindle from a multifunction overhead slide, and a quill in that slide holds the spindle and makes every move. The spindle itself fetches each raw part from the loading station, carries it through machining and sets it back down when done. It is the part that travels here; the tools stay fixed, beneath the workpiece. EMAG's page lists parts as wide as 250 mm and as long as 175 mm, with a 315 mm ceiling on chuck size. Turning is joined by drilling, milling and grinding, and the page describes each machine being configured from a selection of modules, with automation and measurement integrated, to match a customer's own production. The base is MINERALIT with double wall construction, the assemblies that set its geometry are fluid cooled, and the coolant system is integral. A hydrostatic guideway for the work spindle on Z is optional, and EMAG names dry cutting as a job the layout lends itself to.

As EMAG presents it, the VSC 250 is a vertical lathe for flange-type chucked parts, cut soft or hard, and the page lists CV joint parts such as outer races, cages and inner races among its workpieces.
