Shibaura Machine, formerly Toshiba Machine, builds the TUE-150(S) as a vertical boring and turning mill on a wall-type column. This version carries a live spindle. Work swings up to 78.7 in (2000 mm). Cutting height reaches 61 in (1550 mm). The table measures 57 in (1450 mm). It carries loads up to 17600 lbs (8000 kg). The table turns at up to 400 rpm. This is a 50-taper spindle — the 7:24 steep taper that CAT-50, BT-50 and DIN 69871 (SK-50) holders all share.
