Tsugami's BH20Z puts a front gang slide and a rear turret on one 20 mm bar machine, filed as a gang/turret turning center. The two posts hold up to 35 tools. The turret holds 12 rotary tools, and 2 more driven ones go at the gang slide. A Z axis on the rear turret, which is driven independently, opens the way to balanced turning and long thread whirling. Eight axes are controlled, and the page lists a FANUC 31i-A as standard. The headstock moves 170 mm when cutting through the guide bushing and 45 mm when the machine is converted to chucker work, which needs an optional kit. The 2022 page gives 200 to 12,000 rpm for both main and sub spindles, and 2.2 / 3.7 kW drives the main one. Live tools in the turret reach 8,000 rpm. Seven types of simultaneous cutting are listed, using the cross spindle as well as the front and back ones. Mass is 4,500 kg over a 2,480 × 1,585 × 1,733 mm footprint.
