Nakamura-Tome lists the WT-300 in its WT line of two-turret machines. It is a multitasking lathe built with box-way slides on all axes, two opposed spindles (left and right) and two turrets, one upper and one lower. Tools on both turrets may work simultaneously across the two spindles. Maximum turning length is 780 mm. Turning diameter reaches 270 mm on the upper turret; the lower turret also reaches 270 mm, or 229 mm when both spindles are the 102 mm type. The left spindle accepts bar of 65 mm or 71 mm, with 80 mm and 102 mm bores optional, and runs at 4,500 min-1 in the 65 mm build, down to 2,500 min-1 in the 102 mm build. Both spindles carry 15/11 kW motors as standard, with larger motors optional; synchronized, the pair gives up to 30 kW for shaft work. Milling tools run on 5.5/3.7 kW. Multi-tool holders and mid-position turret indexing bring the tool count to as many as 48.
