6 Mazak QUICK TURN NEXUS 100-II M listings have come through the used market we track: 3 marketplaces, built 2007–2011 where given; 5 machines once repeats are merged.
Mazak sized the 100-II M, from its NEXUS II line of CNC turning centers, around a 6 inch chuck on the main spindle, and the M in the name marks the build fitted with milling tools. Three more versions share the page, the MS, MY and MSY, carrying a second spindle, a Y axis or both. Its spec table covers a 300 mm universal bed. Swing reaches 550 mm, and parts up to 280 mm across can be turned. Bar work through the main spindle is put at 51 mm, a figure Mazak says depends on the chuck system. Top spindle speed is 6,000 min-1, drawn from 11.0 kW on its 30 minute rating. The turret is set up for 12 tools. The X stroke measures 185 mm against 385 mm in Z, and the machine stands on an area 2,090 mm long and 1,630 mm wide.

Mazak's 2014 American page for the NEXUS II turning series, the line the 100-II M belongs to, calls it an entry point to multi-tasking: turning and milling in one setup, through-hole chucks for bar stock or chucked parts, and bar feeders or robot loaders for unmanned runs.
