Mazak's INTEGREX i-400ST joins a turning center and a full-function machining center in one 5-axis multi-tasking frame on a 1500U bed, with a second turning spindle and a lower turret that can cut at either spindle. Its milling spindle tilts in B from minus 30 to 210 degrees, 240 degrees in all, and reaches 12000 rpm with 30 hp / 22 kw at 40 ED; a 15 HP spindle turning 20k RPM was the milling option. Its magazine holds 36 HSK A63 tools, or 72 or 110 as options. A 12 in chuck on the main spindle runs to 3300 rpm on 40.0 hp / 30 kw, and a 10 in chuck on the second spindle to 4000 rpm on 35.0 hp / 26 kw, each rated for 30 minutes.
