KURAKI made the KBT-11WA a table-type horizontal boring and milling machine in which the table handles two axes: 2000 mm front to back on X and 1450 mm sideways on Z, while the head climbs 1500 mm on Y. As special options, X could be lengthened to 2500 mm and Y to 1800 mm. Work up to 6500 kg, spread evenly, rests on a 1400 by 1600 mm surface cut with seven 22 mm T-slots. With 500 mm of W axis reach, the 110 mm spindle spans 5 to 3000 min-1 across three ranges from an 18.5/15 kW drive (30 minute and continuous ratings). A 4000 min-1 spindle and a 22/18.5 kW motor were extras. The standard magazine holds forty tools; bigger magazines, starting at 60 tools, were options. Feeds run 1 to 6000 mm/min, and rapid moves on the three main axes reach 12 m/min. Including its NC unit, the machine weighs 29000 kg and stands 3950 mm tall.
