What the maker publishes about the current Doosan HM1000
DN Solutions makes the HM 1000, a horizontal machining center from its HM series of box guideway machines for large components. Travel is 2100 mm in X, 1250 mm in Y and 1250 mm in Z, or 83, 49 and 49 inch, and all three axes rapid at 24 m/min (945 ipm). Work is carried on a 1000x1000 mm pallet with a maximum workpiece weight of 3000 kg. The spindle uses ISO #50 tooling and runs to 6000 r/min, and 8000 r/min appears in braces as an option. Power is rated 26/22 kW as standard and 37/30 kW optionally, with torque of 1989.4 N·m, or 3687 N·m with the option. The tool magazine has 60 stations. In the dimensions table the machine measures 9657 mm long, 3885 mm high and 5822 mm wide, and it weighs 29000 kg.
