Mori Seiki's ZL-203SMC is a two-turret turning center for synchronous and two-process machining, with a second headstock that travels 505 mm on its B axis. Speed ranges are 40 to 4,000 min-1 on headstock 1 and 60 to 6,000 min-1 on headstock 2. Turret 1 has 12 stations and turret 2 has 8, and every station on both can hold a driven tool; the driven tools on either turret turn at 3,000 min-1, while turret 1 may have 4,000 min-1 as an option. Turning diameter reaches 390 mm from turret 1 and 294 mm from turret 2, the standard diameter is 180 mm, and a part handed to headstock 2 may be 168 mm across at most. Length capacity is 424 mm. On X, turret 1 moves 235 mm and turret 2 175 mm; on Z they move 520 mm and 490 mm.
