4 DMG MORI SL-403C/2000 listings have come through the used market we track: 4 marketplaces, built 2007–2011 where given; one early year that only one marketplace reports is left out; 3 machines once repeats are merged.
Mori Seiki built the SL-403C/2000 as a CNC lathe within its SL-403 range. The longest part it turns is 2,068 mm, and the largest diameter it can turn is 620 mm. Its standard turning diameter, 368 mm with the 12-station turret fitted as standard, grows to 456 mm when the optional 10-station head is used instead. The X axis moves 345 mm in total, given as 310 mm plus 35 mm, while Z covers 2,195 mm. Spindle speed peaks at 1,500 min-1, though Mori Seiki warns that certain tools and workholding rule out cutting at that ceiling. None of the turret figures on this sheet mention rotary tools, and no control is named.
