5 DMG MORI NZ 2000 T2Y2 listings have come through the used market we track: 3 marketplaces, built 2008–2011.
The NZ2000 T2Y2 carries a pair of headstocks and a pair of turrets, each turret with a Y axis of its own, and Mori Seiki's German site files it under multi axis machines for volume production. Each headstock turns at up to 5,000 min-1 through a 73 mm bore, and bar as thick as 65 mm passes through, or 63 mm in the collet version. Turret 1 moves 110 mm in Y, from plus 65 mm to minus 45 mm; turret 2 has the same 110 mm reversed. In X both turrets travel 210 mm and in Z 810 mm. Headstock 2 slides 920 mm on its B axis. Turned work can measure 320 mm across, where it would meet the turret cover, and 810 mm long when both ends are cut with an outside turning tool. Each turret has 16 stations, 32 altogether, and the driven tool limit is 6,000 min-1, with 12,000 min-1 optional.
