Mori Seiki's NV6000 DCG/40 is a vertical machining center in its NV6000 DCG line, built around a 1,000 × 600 mm table that holds work of up to 800 kg. X reaches 900 mm as the table moves lengthwise; the saddle's cross motion gives 600 mm of Y; vertical motion of the head gives 450 mm of Z. The standard spindle runs to 12,000 min-1, and 20,000 min-1 was the optional speed. Tool shanks are BT40 as standard, with DIN40 and HSK-A63 both on the option list. The base magazine has 20 places, while 40 and 60 tool magazines were options. Depending on the tools and clamping used, the maximum speed may be out of reach, the maker notes. No control or motor figure appears.
