What the maker published about the DMG MORI NH8000 DCG

Horizontal machining is the NH8000 DCG's role, and the German table from Mori Seiki pins its strokes at 1,400 mm in X, where a saddle travels lengthwise, 1,200 mm in Y, where the head moves vertically, and 1,350 mm in Z, by crosswise table motion. The clamping surface measures 800 × 800 mm, and each pallet is rated for 2,000 kg of work. Parts may swing through 1,450 mm and stand 1,450 mm tall. Tooling uses BT50 shanks. In base form, 10,000 min-1 is the spindle limit; optional versions bring more power at the same 10,000 min-1, a 15,000 min-1 speed, or extra torque at 8,000 min-1. A rack magazine holds 60 tools, while racks of 140, 180, 240 or 330 and a 40 tool chain were optional, each count including one dummy tool.
