What the maker published about the DMG MORI DMC 1035V
Within DMG MORI's DMC V range of vertical mills, the DMC 1035 V is a three axis machining center on a C shaped frame, sized for components weighing as much as 1,000 kg. In the build this page describes, a motor spindle turning 10,000 rpm is fitted as standard, and motor spindles of 14,000 and 18,000 rpm could be specified instead. In that build a double gripper serves a 20 tool magazine and completes a change in 1.6 sec, while rapid motion runs to 30 m/min. For control, the DMG ERGO line panel with a 19 inch screen carries either Siemens 840D solutionline or Heidenhain iTNC530. A brochure linked from the page treats this machine together with two smaller sizes, the DMC 635 V and the DMC 835 V.
