DMG MORI's Canadian page, archived in 2014, puts the DMC 1035 V ecoline among its ECOLINE vertical machining centers, a C frame design that keeps the footprint small. The X axis travels 1,035 mm, and the table has a 1,200 x 560 mm clamping surface that bears up to 1,000 kg. Spindle speed is 8,000 rpm as built, and a 12,000 rpm motor spindle could be ordered, both rated 13 kW and 83 Nm at 40% duty. The page recommends the faster spindle, together with the optional internal coolant feed, for drilling with small tools and for fine finishes at high cutting speeds. Rapids reach 30 m/min, and a double gripper swaps tools in 1.6 seconds from a 20 pocket magazine, or a 30 pocket one as an option. Three controls were listed: SIEMENS 840D solutionline on the DMG SLIM line panel, HEIDENHAIN TNC 620 with plain language programming, and MORI SEIKI's MAPPS IV.
