DMG MORI lists the CTX 310 ecoline among its ecoline universal lathes. Its table shows a 330 mm swing, or 260 mm over the cross slides, and a largest turning diameter of ø 200 mm. The cross slide gives 182.5 mm on X and the bed 455 mm on Z, with rapids of 30 m/min on each. A 210 mm chuck fits the 140h5 flat flange spindle nose, bar of ø 51 mm passes through, or ø 65 mm as an option, and the spindle reaches 5,000 rpm; with the Siemens control it is rated 16.5 / 11 kW and 166.5 / 112 Nm at 40 / 100% duty. A servo turret takes 12 VDI 30 tools, and driven tools turn at up to 4,500 rpm. The tailstock travels 396 mm, takes an MT 4 center and pushes with up to 400 daN. Without a chip conveyor the machine weighs 3,200 kg. A SLIM line panel ran either SIEMENS 840D solutionline, or a HEIDENHAIN CNC PILOT.
