AMADA MACHINERY lists the HA-250W among its general-purpose automatic band saws, a horizontal machine for cutting metal stock, and shares the page with the larger HA-400W. In the HA-250W column, round bar up to 250 mm in diameter fits, as does rectangular stock up to 300 mm wide and 250 mm high. The blade is 3505 mm long. Each feed stroke advances the material 400 mm, and the table sits 700 mm above the floor with an allowable work load of 1500 kg. A chip conveyor is standard equipment, and the roller stand that is optional on the HA-400W comes standard on this model. Other options named on the page are a roller table, a vise pressure control valve, a bundle vise, a stacking beacon and, for this model, a semidry system. AMADA MACHINERY adds that the page covers machines for the Japanese domestic market.

What the Amada HA-250W is used for

On the HA-250W, AMADA tunes each cut through a PF valve set to the material, shape and size of the stock, moves the operation panel off the moving parts and into the control cabinet so main functions run remotely, and lists a 34 mm blade in place of the 27 mm one as an option for faster sawing.
