The spindle nose clears the table by 4.2 in at the bottom of its stroke and 29.2 in at the top. A table of 48.0 in length and 18.0 in width, with 5 T-slots, is rated for 1750 lb evenly loaded. Inline direct drive turns the 40-taper spindle to 12000 rpm. Its rating is 30.0 hp, and its torque, 90.0 ft-lbf, peaks at 2000 rpm. Holder styles cover BT40, HSK-A63 and CT40. The side-mount changer has room for 30+1 tools, and each may weigh 12.0 lb and extend 13.00 in beyond the gage line. Tool-change time is 1.80 s on average, rising to 2.40 s when measured chip to chip. Rapid moves run at 1400 ipm; for cutting, the feed ceiling is 833 ipm.
