Mazak's SVC-2000L/200 is a vertical machining center from the SVC line, in which a traveling column moves along X on a linear motor above a fixed table. That table measures 212.6" × 20.08" and holds 7496 lbs with the load spread evenly. X travel reaches 200", and Y and Z both travel 20.08". Rapid traverse is 4724 IPM along X, with Y and Z each at 1969 IPM. The spindle takes CAT No.40 tool shanks, tops out at 15000 rpm and can be brought from 7.09" to 27.17" over the table surface. In the tool changer, a tool may be Φ3.15" across, or Φ4.33" if the pockets on either side stay empty, with a length of 13.78" measured from its gauge line and a weight of 18 lbs.
