Within Mazak's SMART turning series, the QTS-200 is a 2-axis CNC lathe whose 8 in chuck sits on a spindle with its motor integrated. A ceiling of 5000 rpm applies to the spindle, whose motor is rated for 30 minutes at 20.0 hp / 15 kw. Specifications cover two beds, 500U and 1000U, that share most figures: 26.00 in of swing, a 14.000 in limit on machined diameter, 2.6 in bar work capacity and 7.75 in of X movement.
