The spindle carries a 15 in chuck and reaches 1250 rpm; the drive motor is rated 40.0 hp / 30 kw over 30 minutes. Twelve tools load into a drum turret. Along X the slide moves 18.50 in, and along Z 34.49 in. Automatic tool changing and a 2-pallet changer were options. The Matrix Nexus CNC control accepts EIA-ISO code as well as Mazatrol conversational programs.
