A tailstock with an MT No.5 center applies up to 3372 lbs of thrust. Machine weight is 49824 lbs to 71869 lbs by bed length.

On its 2017 page Mazak pitches the INTEGREX e-500H at heavy, large-diameter shafts turned, milled, bored and drilled in one setup, with a turning spindle geared in two ranges, a 50-taper milling head that swings from -30 to 210 degrees, a programmable tailstock and an optional programmable steady rest for long work, and an optional stocker for two 40 in boring bars to reach deep bores.
