Mazak paired two spindles with two 12-position VDI drum turrets on the HQR-200MSY 850U, and milling comes from rotary tools on each turret, which also slides on its own Y axis. Over the upper turret the swing is ø370 mm, shrinking to ø320 mm over the lower one, and cut diameters reach ø344 mm and ø212 mm respectively.
