What the maker published about the Doosan HC 400
Doosan Infracore listed the ACE HC400 with three axis strokes of 600 mm, 560 mm and 565 mm, for X, Y and Z in that order, and a rapid rate of 32 m/min on each of them. Work is loaded on two pallets that swap by turning, and the axis feeds run on roller guides. Its spindle reaches 8,000 rpm from an 18.5 kW motor. A 40-tool magazine serves the changer, which takes 1.5 seconds tool to tool, and each tool may weigh up to 10 kgf. The spindle, table, changer and magazine were built as modules. Two screw conveyors came as standard for clearing chips, and the operator's panel swivels.
