DN Solutions' DNM 4500S is a vertical machining center, tabulated in the DNM series next to the DNM 4500 and 4500L. Against the plain 4500, the S column differs in spindle speed and rapid traverse rates, while its strokes, table and footprint read the same. Here the spindle reaches 15000 r/min and is rated at 18.5 kW (25 hp) with 117.8 N·m (87 ft-lb) of torque. X, Y and Z rapid at 42, 42 and 36 m/min, printed in imperial as 1654, 1654 and 1417 ipm. Working strokes measure 800 mm by 450 mm by 510 mm, or 31 by 18 by 20 inch. Parts go on a 1000 by 450 mm table, 39 by 18 inch, that bears up to 600 kg (1323 lb). Laid out on the floor, the machine needs 2158 mm of length and 2615 mm of width, and it rises 2985 mm. Its mass is 5000 kg, or 11023 lb.
