In Mori Seiki's SH series the SH-633 is a horizontal machining center that carries its work on 630x630 mm pallets. Each pallet takes up to 1,200 kg, and a part may swing through 940 mm and stand 1,000 mm tall. With the optional three station turn type pallet changer those limits drop to 800 kg and 800 mm of swing. The column moves lengthwise for X over 840 mm, the spindle head rises and falls 760 mm in Y, and the table crosses 840 mm in Z. A raised column, listed as an option, stretches Y to 860 mm. Tool shanks are MAS BT-50, with CAT-50 as the alternative, and the magazine stores 60 tools as standard or 120 or 180 as options. Spindle speed reaches 10,000 min-1, and an optional spindle goes to 15,000 min-1.
