Parts up to 350 lb go onto a 10.5 in by 47.8 in table, which has 3 T-slots. Spindle speed maxes out at 4000 rpm. Drive is by belt, and the spindle rating is 7.5 hp. Peak torque, 33.0 ft-lbf, comes at 1200 rpm. CT or BT 40 toolholders fit the spindle. Every axis moves at 200 ipm in rapid, and cutting feed shares that 200 ipm ceiling. The gap from spindle nose to table can be set anywhere between 20.0 in and 4.0 in. Haas equips it with a conversational programming system, so parts can be programmed without knowing G-code. Input is 220 VAC on either one phase or three, and European machines use three.
