Makino's a61nx is a four-axis horizontal machining center with a 40-taper spindle. The pallet measures 500 x 500 mm, and the axes travel 730 mm in X and 800 mm in Z. The B-axis is listed as a 360° DD NCRT. The spindle turns up to 14,000 rpm and produces 303 Nm of torque, with a CAT40 taper and HSK-A63 as an option. Rapid traverse is 60,000 mm/min, and cutting feedrate is 50,000 mm/min. The largest workpiece is ø800 mm x 1,000 mm. Payload is 500 kg, with 700 kg as an option.
