What the maker published about the DMG MORI ZL-253SMC
Mori Seiki's page lists Item as ZL-253SMC, with Standard turning diameter at 180 mm (7.0 in.). The page gives Max. turning length at 412 mm (16.2 in.). It lists Z-axis travel as Turret 1: 520 mm (20.5 in.) Turret 2: 490 mm (19.3 in.). The page also lists Headstock 2 travel at 505 mm (19.9 in.). Another footnote says that running at full spindle speed may not be possible, since the clamping device, fixture and tool in use can limit it.
